Two of the biggest pro wrestling stars on the planet are coming to New Bedford in the coming months, but they’re each coming for different reasons.

All Elite Wrestling stars Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho will each make appearances at The Vault, the downtown venue that has become one of the true gems of live entertainment in the city. Both are currently among the top talents in AEW, after long and successful WWE careers, and are spotlighted weekly on AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage.

Danielson is coming to The Vault on June 5, appearing for a special autograph signing event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. His appearance is a joint venture of Purchase Street Records, Cojo’s Toy World and Rhode Island Comic Con. Tickets must be purchased in advance at BigEventNY.com. By the way, Cojo co-owner Ted “Teddy Goodz” Bolduc is no stranger to the ring, having recently wrestled for AEW and WWE.

Meanwhile, AEW’s first “The Champion” Chris Jericho will appear with his rock band Fozzy on October 3. “The Wizard” has always been a master at reinventing themselves in the ring, but Fozzy has gradually become one of rock’s top bands over the past 20 years. They will be there to support their recently released album boom box. Also appearing that evening will be special guests No Resolve and GFM.

Fozzy’s consumer sale is scheduled for this Friday. Ticket prices are $30 for general admission, $40 for early general admission. Tickets will be available on The Vault website.

Of course, Jericho is no stranger to our area, having previously visited to investigate paranormal occurrences in the Bridgewater Triangle.

Paranormal Activity Reported in Massachusetts’ Bridgewater Triangle

In his 1983 book mysterious america, cryptozoologist Loren Coleman introduced a term he coined in the late 1970s – the Bridgewater Triangle – to describe an area with an abnormal level of paranormal activity and high weirdness in southeastern Massachusetts. Over the years, the concept of the Triangle has expanded to include ghostly reports, UFO sightings, cryptic encounters, alien abductions and more across a wider swath of southern New England.

LOOK UP: Recent UFO sightings on the south coast

There are often things that cannot be explained in the skies over the south coast. The National UFO Reporting Center maintains a database of all unidentified flying object reports that are submitted by those who see them, and you can see how often they appear right above our own heads.
