After last night’s shutout win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Cincinnati Reds will be looking to grab their first 3-game winning streak of the season. Starters Tyler Mahle and Mitch Keller will see the same team as their last outing, although the two did not face each other in the same game. The first launch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. ET.
Starting lineups
Here are the line-ups for tonight’s NL Central contest:
Starting pitchers
Tyler Mahle
It’s been a tough season for Tyler Mahle, who currently has a 6.46 ERA. He sometimes struggled to keep left-handed hitters away as they walked 13 times against him while only hitting 14 times. So far he’s limited the power of his opponents, but he’s still been touched up for a bunch of runs. Mahle is coming off a solid start against Pittsburgh last time out, allowing two runs on a hit and three walks in 5.0 innings.

News and Notes
Vladimir Gutierrez at the bullpen
David Bell said Vladimir Gutierrez would move to the bullpen and Connor Overton would stay in the rotation. With days off on Monday and Thursday, the Reds don’t need to have five starters in the rotation until the Chicago Cubs’ series — nearly two weeks from today.
